RULES OF CONDUCT IN THE CAR WASHES

WARNING

  • The car wash equipment is designed for cars, cross-country vehicles, minivans, and minibuses. The exact allowed height of a vehicle is indicated next to the contact details of each car wash at www.probroexpress.lt. The distance between a vehicle and the grounds must be at least 9 cm.

  • The car wash services are intended for vehicles in good technical condition and without damage to the card body.

  • The washing programme may not wash away dried insect traces or road deposits (bitumen, tar, asphalt, etc.).

  • Vehicles covered in snow, ice, or a thick layer of dirt are not allowed in the car wash.

  • The car wash services are not adapted for cars with non-manufactured decorative parts, cars with repainted bodywork or parts thereof, and poorly repaired cars. In these cases, the car owner is responsible for any potential consequences.

  • If the road is blocked at the end of the conveyor or at the exit point of the car wash, the driver(s) of the vehicle shall be liable for a possible collision.

THE FOLLOWING IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED DURING A CAR WASH:

  • pressing the accelerator or brake pedals;

  • moving the steering wheel, changing gears;

  • opening doors, windows, sunroofs;

  • climbing out of the car;

  • driving on the conveyor belt;

  • activating the wipers.

BEFORE ENTERING THE CAR WASH THE FOLLOWING MUST BE DONE:

  • close all the windows and the sunroof, lower (or remove) antennas, fold the aerodynamic parts;

  • remove the roof rack, bicycle racks, roof cross bars, and other non-factory parts from the vehicle. Check whether the license plates are secured. We recommend activating the car wash function if the vehicle has one;

  • fold mirrors for SUVs, minivans, and minibuses (for other vehicles, folding mirrors is recommended);

  • follow the instructions displayed on the car wash display or given by the operator.

WHAT TO DO?

  • Pay for the service and drive up to the car wash with the receipt.

  • Slowly drive the front wheels onto the conveyor.

  • Put the car in neutral gear (marked “N” in automatic gearboxes) and release the brakes slowly. If available, disable all automatic braking functions (“Auto Hold”, etc.). Do not use the handbrake! The engine must be running during the entire time of the wash;

  • After the washing programme is finished, the car rolls off the conveyor by itself. After the rear wheels have rolled off the conveyor and the green light is turned on, drive slowly out of the car wash.

  • Always check the brakes after washing: before driving into the street, press the brake pedal several times while driving slowly.

IMPORTANT!

  • The driver(s) of the vehicle shall bear the risk and consequences of a failure to comply with the provisions and instructions outlined in the Rules.

  • During the cold season, the customer must make sure that snow and ice are removed from the car.

  • If you are using the car wash services, you consent to your visit being recorded by video surveillance.

  • If you have a complaint about the quality of services, we recommend raising it immediately after the wash, in order for the car to be inspected more quickly, and the complaint to be resolved more effectively.

  • If a wiper bag is used at the car wash, and the driver refuses to use it, the full risk of damage to the vehicle rests with the driver(s).
